With more than 30 years experience fishing Kangaroo Island waters, both as a professional and amateur, Wallaby Bob will create for you whatever fishing experience you would like while holidaying on KI.

Night Fishing Tours
NO FISH/NO PAY
Stroll along the sandy beaches and small reefs and appreciate the diversity of marine creatures living in our local waters. Select an assortment of seafood for your eating enjoyment.
Wallaby Bob will provide three hours of peaceful wading through our pristine waters that awakens the hunter/gatherer in us all.
These tours are designed for small groups of 2-4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (children must be supervised by an adult at all times), and operate (subject to weather conditions) from 9.30pm till 12.30am, October to April.
For those staying elsewhere without cooking and/or keeping facilities, Wallaby Bob may offer to help clean, fillet and freeze your catch for later or, time permitting, barbecue your catch for you on return to Wallaby Bobs from your tour.

Unlike most tours we offer a NO FISH/NO PAY policy
Beach and Rock Fishing Tours
North or south coast, beach or rock fishing, with his knowledge of the best places for shore fishing and access to miles of coastline, some through private property, Wallaby Bob can take you to safe fishing places whatever the weather. All equipment can be supplied.
Charter Boat Arrangements
Among Our Friends on KI are 2 charter boat operators operating out of American River, Cooinda Fishing Charters and Tory M, who offer Wallaby Bobs guests discount on tours. Wallaby Bob can also arrange fishing charters out of Kingscote, Emu Bay and Western River Cove for those keen on deep water fishing off the North and North West coast of kangaroo Island.
Fishing Gear and Boat Hire
Wallaby Bobs offers a range of fishing rods, complete with reels and traces, and crab nets for hire:- Small rods @ $8 per day
- Surf rods @ $12 per day
- Crab nets @ $5 per day each
Hire Boats
Wallaby Bobs has now acquired a 4.6m (15 feet) Sportscraft Half-cabin boat, complete with 50 hp Mariner outboard, compass, marine radio, Hummingbird fish finder, 2 x 20ltr fuel tanks, 4 life jackets, bait board and tilt trailer. This is available for maximum of 4 people @ $170.00 per day (or $150.00 per day if you are staying at Wallaby Bobs). A boat licence is required to hire this boat and a refundable deposit of $200.00 is required.
We also have an aluminium dinghy available @ $80.00 per day. A boat licence is required to hire this boat and a refundable deposit of $100.00 is required.
These will be available for hire from 1 September 2010.
On-Site Fish Equipment
Wallaby Bob is happy to teach guests how to clean and fillet their catch. We will also freeze fish individually on trays for later use or to take home. There is an on-site fish cleaning and filleting station, a crab/crayfish cooker and a fish smoker.
